S.O.S Guardians is a safety charm that protects citizens in danger through an alarm sound and emergency reporting to the police in Seoul, Korea. Inspired by Haechi and the Four Guardian Spirits, it reimagines protection as a charming everyday object that can be attached to a bag or personal belonging. The design combines an S.O.S button, a leather guardian shell, an electronic unit, and a pompom detail to create a refined souvenir with daily appeal. When pressed, it activates a bell siren and sends location and emergency information through a connected app. Made from upcycled leather scraps from local Seoul workshops and discarded car seat leather, it brings together citizen safety, local heritage, and sustainable making.
